Help Stop Verizon's update pop-up

I stupidly checked my phone for a new update and now I'm being pestered every minute or so with the official Verizon wireless update. It won't let me defer more than 5 days and will update automatically on the date and time I set. So, I've just been clicking the home button every time it appears.
It's their a way to disable OTA updates through file explorer or titanium on the note 2? I have both and I'm rooted.

I've checked other threads, but was unable to find the files they mentioned on my device.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Backup and do a factory reset then when u get the notification pop up decline it

Probably not the answer you want, but you can take the update and still keep root. It's about a 15 minute process.

In another forum I read it tells to Freeze/rename the following apps:

SDM.apk
FWupdate.apk
Keychain.apk

they are located in the /system/app.

I changed the apk to bak after my last notification but don't know if it works because I defered it for the 5 days first.
