Google Voice Questions

I have a Verizon S3 and have had Google Voice installed for a long time (I have a telephone number associated with the installation). In the past I had it set to "do not use Google Voice for any calls". I just changed it to "ask every time I make a call". Now when I make a call it still does not ask me if I should use Google Voice it just dials normally.

1) How can I get it to prompt me to ask if I should use Google Voice?
2) If someone calls the Google Voice number how can I answer the call? Do I have to set Google Voice on the web to forward call to my cell number?
3) Instead of having the phone ask me every time I make a call if I want to use Google Voice is there a way to make the call normally unless I do something specific and then it would use Google Voice?

Thanks for your help.

1) You should be able to, through the app settings, set it ask you/never use it/always use it.
2)Yes, it needs to be set up. Online, in settings in the 'phone tab' make sure you have "Forwards calls to" your mobile number. You can also set up voice mail there, click the 'advanced' settings.
3) Try VoiceChoice, it automates what numbers to call with GV and what numbers to call with your mobile. There is a free version, I linked the paid. You have to have GV set up to 'use for every call' for the app to work right.

Thanks I got it working properly with your help. I tried Voice Choice but was unsuccessful. I have 2200 contacts with multiple numbers and it took Voice Choice a long time to just show the contacts and ten I started selecting the ones I wanted but before I got out of the A's the app would stop. I tried it numerous times with the same results.

Thanks for your help.
