Hi so im new to AF but i have question to ask.

Recent reports on the rumor train for the Note 3 state the phone will have a 1.8 GHz processor. What is the difference between the Note 2's processor to the rumored processor in the Note 3? I ask this because i am getting a new phone Feb 22( my 18th birthday) and want to get a great phone. I am sold on the note 2 (no S3 cause i love the notes display) and i do not want to get the Note 2 a week before the note 3 is rumored to come out. I know no one knows the exact specs of the note 3 but if the rumors are right, is it really worth a month for 1.8 GHz processor?

hopefully the above makes sense. Thanks

Yeah no news on a Note 3 right now. Note 2 has barely been out for 2 months. You are thinking about the S4, which is what the poster above me said. My cousin works at Car Toys and sells phones and he said he thinks a summer release like the S3 last year.

I got the Note 2 last week and I'm safe to say this will last me for some years. It handles everything I need and then some. And the screen size is great and I don't need anything bigger. Anything larger will just be a novelty act and might as well get a tablet. You will be very satisfied with the Note 2 as a daily phone. Best phone on the market right now with it's older but smaller brother S3 right behind it.

Who the hell cares what the definition of a rumor is? There is no point in spreading rumors if NOTHING ABOUT THEM IS TRUE. What is the point in saying "RUMOR says the screen will be 6.5 inches" You may as well just say "the screen may or may not be 6.5 inches". its a stupid and pointless thing to say.

Read the OP genius.
It clearly asked for the difference between the note 2 processor and the rumored note 3 processor.

Every time you post you remind me of an age old comment that people make.
It has something to do with a tool in a shed.

My advice is not to get the Note 2 and wait for the Note 3, whenever that is ;)

Strictly my opinion, the processor will probably stay quad core. Pushing higher cores will make very little difference and only cost more to the consumer with no real added benefits. A speed bump and tweaks in the processor will be expected as manufacturers are constantly looking at improving and making things more efficient.
