No, you run it on a Windows PC. Its a 7z self extracting archive, then you get an exe and run that. Put your phone in recovery mode (power it on while holding the volume down button. Confirm with volume up.

Connect your phone to the pc (must already have samsung mobile drivers installed: Rwilco12's Android Repository) and it should detect a COM port in one of the little boxes in the Odin program. It was yellow for me, I clicked start, and it started loading the stock Sprint 4.1.2 ROM.

At the end of this im realizing that this may be a different "stock" I may have used FJ14? The instructions should be almost the same regardles.w

Actually I did have a question with the file I was downloading. I downloaded the "Stock Restore. exe" assuming that once restored, it would be completely stock and not rooted. Was this file meant for phones that are not rooted? Because there was another file titled "Root Stock Restore" and I wasn't sure if that one was the right one.

Taking a shot in the dark here (without researching), I think the stock restore brings you back stock unrooted, and root stock restore brings you back to stock while keeping root.

Could be wrong here but that's what it sounds like :D

It seems to me that the "Restore" options will basically do a factory reset and erase all user data. "NoData" will keep user data.

So I guess Rooted means rooted and Stock means not rooted.

Thanks OP and for those who provided answers. I just flashed Paranoid Android and its great, but my 3g is wonky (even with EG30 modem) and mms still does't seem to work, so I'm going to go back to stock ICS until the official JB update.

Hey BoogieTrain can you let me know if you're succesfull? I still haven't been able to restore my phone for some reason.

Let me know how you did it if it works!

Trying it right now, I'll let you know how it goes.

EDIT: I ran RootedNo data and its stuck at the Samsung logo after the virgin boot animation. Trying RootRestore now.

EDIT: RootedRestore worked! :D I was worried that my internalSD would get wiped because i accidentally wiped it in CMW once so i killed ODIN shortly after the install. I got a firmware load error on boot. Was able to get back to download mode and re-ran the odin one click and I'm back to stock now.
