I've come from a GS2 that eventually was rooted and running Jelly bean Cyanagen and the photos I took were always good, often stunning but rarely bad unless I did something daft.
I could just point and click and the camera pretty much always hit the spot, I could play around with the settings if I wanted to do some macro stuff or do something clever.
Fast forward to the Note 2 and I'm having less success.
The pictures I take with the Note are either excellent or dreadful and I don't know which until I look at them on a PC.
I've had photos that are tinted pink (sunlight problems I think) and I've had plenty of blurry photos (auto focus fail I guess.)
The SG2 very rarely blurred focus, it always seemed to get the focus just right.
I don't mind setting scene modes and stuff like that if I want to do some "arty" shots but when I want to point and click I expect pin sharp, focused well balanced photos with plenty of detail, every time not just occasionally.
That's not too much to ask with the same camera as the SG2 used is it?
