Flash Verizon MiFi 2200 to get unlimited access? Can i resell these?

Just recently saw people selling flashed Verizon MiFi 2200 devices on Craigslist and Ebay that allow you to get unlimited 3g? Sounds like a good way for me to make extra money selling them myself and wondered is it legal resell these flashed devices or can i get in trouble doing it?... Anyone have thoughts on this idea? Thanks to all of you knowledgeable people out there!

Flashing is illegal, period. Therefore, selling devices that have been flashed is illegal. It's like selling burned cd's, you can do it for so long until you eventually get caught or someone rats you out.
If Verizon wanted to sell unlimited 3G internet with MiFi's, they would have never got rid of their unlimited plan to begin with, think about it.
