[Verizon] [rom]jbsourcery v5.4-lte[06/07/13] jb4.2.2 The Final Call

@Rubber Ducker, have you tried to download anything from the store? I had/am having problems with the store. It sees all my apps, but I can't update any or even download anything.

I restored with TB. I was able to install apps and update before... just couldn't get them all to auto restore.

I'm getting updates and all after the TB restore. All is good.

I am loving everything about this ROM! Seems quicker than 3.2 for sure. One thing I miss is the old toggles in the notification tray. I prefer them much more than the new ones. The new customization is pretty sweet, however. When I pull down the notification tray, is there a way to remove the blue animation?

Also, there used to be a mod to take higher quality pictures, is that no longer needed? I can't find it in the extras section.

So what's stock in case we don't like what we select? Blue Glow? I'd hate to re-flash the ROM just for that...

I just changed mine to stock. Sourcery Tools --> Mods --> Pulldown Wallpaper --> Stock JB Pulldown.

I haven't tested out the camera yet so I haven't noticed the shutter noise. If you're in vibrate/silence mode, will it still make that noise? What about 3rd party camera apps?

Just clean installed 4.5 and setting up.

I see where to set up the nav bar widgets in the nav bar menu. But it doesn't look like any of the nav bar buttons can be set up to trigger the widgets -- am I missing something, or is this still a placeholder?

Also, any plans to bring back the custom brightness settings? I'm talking about the table you were able to edit where you could set the screen to be a certain brightness when it's in a particular range of ambient light.

Thanks for all the great work!!!

Thanks for the tip!

However, I can't rename it. It gives me an "operation failed" message when I try, even though I have root.

Does anyone have a silent .ogg file?

Did you mount the system R/W (Read/Write)? I believe it's Read Only (R/O) by default. Root Explorer will mount it R/W, then long-press the file and rename with a .bak on the end. Remember to mount it R/O when you're done.

I love the new way you can swipe up to show the nav buttons and then they hide automatically. Thanks for a great ROM as always.
Thanks for the post about that. I wasn't even aware of this amazing feature!

Side note: Any way to change the dot? I would like to make it black and a bit more transparent, especially for games that take over the full screen.

Love it though. Great for Kindle!

That must be it. I don't have Root Explorer so I'm trying to figure out how to mount it another way.

Thanks again for the tip.

Bought Root Explorer and changed it no issue. Four bucks for one feature kind of sucks though.

Anyway, couple questions/issues with hiding the navigation:

1) As I said earlier, it would be great to be able to customize that little dot that appears.

2) A possible bug or limitation of the system: To change the delay time, you have to toggle the feature off/on. So, I change the time, turn it off, then turn it back on. Not a big deal.

3) Is there a way to make it hide ONLY when swiping the little dot? I have it to never auto-hide so I can hide when needed. However, I use Go Launcher which has the (wonderful) ability to swipe down anywhere on screen to bring down the notification window. This hides the nav bar too.

Wonderful features though. I'm loving this version of the ROM so far!
