i updated to the newest ROM and now im stuck....

It was stuck on the animation when the phone turns on. But I got it working already, had to wipe clean then loaded the old ROM.

Oh okay, yeah sometimes you'll have to wipe clean for it to boot properly.

Was you updating from the Kuban updater or the xda thread?

It was from the XDA thread. But I think I'm almost ready to try the PACman ROM , lol

Lol when you are ready, go for it.

When I first tried an aosp rom (Paranoid Android), it's similar to PACman, I fell in love and haven't went back to sense/Touchwiz since lol.

Let me know how you like it if you decide to try it out.

Baked BlackBean is another favorite of mine, very stable 4.2.1 rom.

Flashed RootBox today, similar to BlackBean, pretty sweet.

I notice some of them you have to flash GAPPS?? Also I can just Flash these over FL27 based correct??

Yes for any non sense roms, gapps do need to me flashed which are the needed Google apps.

With aosp, you can flash being on any base.

Oops sorry for the late reply lol, when your in a safe recovery, go into your advanced menu, and you'll see wipe dalvik cache

Not exactly sure, never messed with it.

All I know is it activates when phone is docked/sleeping

Just tried it out, it's pretty much like a screen saver.

That's very odd, I can but the phone gets hung when hanging up on newest build. About to try out slim bean.

I wish I could find a rom I could stick with but seems all of them have a bug I can't deal with.

i feel yah! im going to try hes 1/29 build see if that fixes the problem if not going back to Kuban.

The 1/29 build is where I've had no problems. His newest build just has too many bugs.

There's not much difference between 1/29 and newest as far as I know aside from the bugs lol

When I eventually learn how to flash modems and figure out how to use direct boot el29 ill try out some TW JB roms

No, I use the stock launcher which is trebuchet. Or something similar to that lol but very similar to apex.

The only thing I really really dislike is the camera... It doesn't focus right and can't find the option to save to sd

I don't think there's an option to save to external on aosp, but i could be completely wrong.

I haven't found a way.

If you need them on external, you could easily grab ES File Explorer and move the dcim folder to external
