T-mobile SIM card are free today!

I did take a look and doing Buy It Now NEW the cheapest is $329. The avg sale price is $179 accordng to ebay.

I notice 3 button (Jelly Bean) vs 4 button.

Amaze got microSD.

There are only 3 auction on this and the rest is all Buy It Now. Less popular?

One S is less popular with the elite. Nobody has even done s-off on it.

I tried the $30 plan for about 24 hrs. I've tried a slew of Wi-Fi calling apps, on a couple different devices, and I just couldn't stand it. Call quality was horrendous. Nobody could hear a word I said. It was unusable. Had to upgrade to the $60 plan.

Needless to say I'm a little upset. Next month I'll be switching to an mvno like straight talk or Solavei.

It's not for everyone. Sorry it didn't work out for you.

It's not the recommended plan if you make alot of phone calls

He was using Apps (such as GrooveIP) to make phone calls using the Internet rather than through the T-Mobile voice service. From what he was saying, his T-Mobile service worked fine, just that the app he was using to make VoIP calls did not work well on his phone.

Many of us who have the T-Mobile $30/month plan use a VoIP app since we only get 100 voice minutes from T-Mobile but 5 GB or data -- it is an easy and cheap way to basically turn that plan into an "unlimited" talk plan. VoIP typically works fine but because of the setup of some phones, or the data connection in the area, the apps don't always provide quality phone calls without some tinkering in the settings of the app.

Yes, exactly. I am happy for others that it works out well and they get to save money. But I've tried grooveip, voip, talkatone, and more with the same results. I've done much tinkering in the settings of the app. I managed to make i think one phone call that was still not great but we were able to complete. I used my Wi-Fi at home... terrible. My T-Mobile 4G service (with which I average 8 to 9 mbps) even worse results. Must just be my phone.
