I present you with Party Time JBS. Just what is Party Time JB? Well, it's a ROM based on Martinez41613 Super Stock ICS ROM and it is a WIP (Work In Progress). It features things from Android 4.0, 4.1, & 4.2. I plan to work on this ROM to improve it. I hope everybody likes this ROM.

Note for 2.3: The boot animation will not show, but that does not mean it will not boot, it will boot! Remember to do a full wipe to get the full effect! Remember, this is a ROM based off of martinez's superstock ics!

Note for 2.4: It is integral that you do a data/factory reset and dalvik-cache wipe before flashing to get the full effect of this ROM!

Sorry for skipping 1.3 - 1.9, they all had major problems

Note 1: If upgrading from 1.0 or 1.2 to 2.0 then you do not need to wipe data/factory reset or even wipe dalvik cache. However, it is still recommended!

Note 2: You must flash ClockWorkMod Recovery 6.0.2.3 first! 6.0.2.7 will not work as of now! I find that test 8 is most reliable.

Disclaimer 1: If this Mod bricks your device there are a lot of things you can do to fix it. All you have to do is check on this forum. Also, if this Mod damages your device in any way, I take no responsibility, it is nobody's responsibility but your own. That being said, I have already tested and it finally runs perfectly on my phone.

Disclaimer 2: While installing this ROM using CWM Recovery, you will notice some profane language. If you are uncomfortable with this, the best i can do for now is say sorry.

Installation Instructions:
1. Download ROM and place wherever you would like (I keep my ROMs in a folder named ROMs located in my external sd card).
2. Boot into CWM Recovery
3. Wipe Data/Factory Reset
4. Advanced
3. Select Install zip from sd card
4. Select either install zip from sd card or install zip from external sd card
5. Select folder where you put PartyTime ROM.
6. Select PartyTime Rom (The Name will be PartyTime ICS because I forgot to rename it after updating).
7. Install
8. Reboot system
9. Wait at least 20 minutes before calling it a fail.
10. Voila
11. Welcome to the party!

Wait at least half an hour before you decide it wont boot...its a huge file so it will take a really long time to boot the first time

Did the backup/wipe/install process but, CMW claims it "can't open Party Time ICS.zip (bad)" and the installation was aborted.

Been running it since 6 am no real problems to report. Oh, one small thing, the date in the drop down is backwards to what I'm used to. Great rom! Thanks for your hard work.

Here's how you fix that.

Still poking around for now, but it's running and it seems to be just as good as any other ROM on this forum. I'll let you know if I come across anything, but for now it's business as usual.

So could you test something for me? Try holding your power button down completely until your phone just shuts off, then power it back on and tell me if you still have the triangle

Yeah, both Email and Gmail apps work for me.

On a completely different note to SuperBoy: I'm not entirely convinced that this is actually running JB, despite the Android version being 4.1.1. Yes, some features from JB are present, but there are a lot of others missing (expanded notifications is a biggie). If it really is "a ROM based on Martinez41613 Super Stock ICS ROM" then I think you're better off calling it an ICS ROM with some JB features. It's misleading to change the Android version number to 4.1.X just because features were ported.

If I'm wrong and the ROM really is a JB-based ROM, I'd like to know where and what about it makes this a JB ROM to warrant a 4.1 version number. I'd totally understand if it's just TouchWiz being silly and making things look like ICS.

All that said and aside, I do like the ROM and what it does, so I'll be keeping it.
