I'll try to be as clear as possible.
I have a security code on my phone bc of my kids. that might be the reason why I cant change only my lockscreen wallpaper alone?

another question: I would like to have the notifications (the thing you swipe down?) also on the lockscreen, any way to do that?

And when I get an sms I would like to see who it's from ON my lockscreen.
i have Go SMS installed and I can only see a pop up when I unlock my phone.

It's important to me so if somebody can help me please?

I think that because you're using a code, the notification pull down is disabled to prevent someone from bypassing the lock screen. As far as I know, that is only possible if you're not using a security code/pattern and running Android 4.0+.

You can't set a separate wallpaper for the lock screen unless you use a third party lock screen app like Widget Locker. I don't know of any way to get a SMS pop up on the lock screen itself, but it may be possible (again, using a lock screen off the Play Store).

You can use a third party SMS app like, Handcent, which has a lock screen pop-up window so you can see who the message is from and can reply to it, with out unlocking your phone. You can set the popup to wake up the screen for 30 sec. or longer. The screen will go back to sleep after that time has expired.

Thanks both. It's annoying about the code but it's needed :(
And I'm using a third party SMS app (goSMS) but I can't seem to find a setting to get the popup on the lock screen.

I know for a fact that Handcent bypasses the lockscreen with its' popup messenger so you could try that.

And WidgetLocker is really nice if you are looking for ways to get more out of your lockscreen, unless you are on Android 4.2 then you can have widgets and such.

One of my own apps, Executive Assistant, will allow you to view & reply to SMS while the phone is locked. In fact, you can include any combination of sms, email, calendar, tasks, missed calls, google reader, twitter, & facebook on the lock screen -- you select which info you want to see.

There is also a free (ad-supported) version of the app available.

Cheers,
Steve
