I read that earlier, pretty impressive.

Apple wants to control their users. Instead of giving them the option of Flash, and let the users decide whether they want to use it or not, it's just not included.

Apple seems to think they know their users and their decisions are in the users' best interests.

It's not only devices are like that, or their OS.. It's their entire concept which is the same. How many music and movies I bought off iTunes with my money and i cannot even burn my purchases onto a DVD, I must convert the files to remove DRM first...

So much freedom after spending so much.

PS. I am not a fan of flash, frankly even on my browser, if I can block flash I will (it doesnt slow my system as I got a heavy gaming platform) I just get annoyed with all the rubbish flash has to offer at times.

My issue with Apple, is that multi-tasking is not a groundbreaking invention, in fact it is simple programming, I've hd phones 4 years ago which has more functionality than the iPhone. Imagine, only last year they released video recording, very cutting edge, considering every device i had over the last 5-6 years probably had video recording capabilities

What good is running 62 or even 3 apps at once when you can only do something in one at a time anyways? You think you are going to have more than one on your screen at a time on a tiny phone?

You still didn't answer my question kid. What do you consider true "multitasking"? Your samsung moment does not truly multitask either genius. An app sleeping in the background while you are using another is not true multitasking and is the same thing iPhone 4.0 will do. So what will your moment do iPhone and iPad users won't be able to with 4.0?

If the iPhone can do what I described, I'd say that is multitasking. I don't understand the hatred for the iPhone on here though. You all realize the if it weren't for the iPhone we would likely not have the great devices we all currently own right? Apple took the smartphone and made it useable to the average joe. They then advertised the crap out of it so everyone knew what a smartphone was. Now we have a bunch of other companies making better devices to compete with the iPhone.

I'll admit I never heard of Android until I got my Hero. I originally thought about getting an iPhone but the price of AT&T's plans is what stopped me. I went to Sprint to see what similar phones they offered and found the Hero. I'm hooked on Android now and wouldn't trade it for an iPhone since I like the ability to customize my phone and the open Android market. I can see the usefulness of iPhone though, and why many people have bought and will continue to buy it. It is a great phone for people who just want something cool that's easy to use.
