You can edit build.prop file to use it on boost rom, also you can edit it to install apps that show up as incompatible.

Yeah, I have edited the build.prop to do things like this and to make other tweaks to the phone. :D It is good though that the next version will support the boost ROM as not everyone is comfortable with editing their build.prop

No problem editing build.prop, the problem is I don't want to do it without a nandroid backup. Having rooted with Exynos Abuse I have no custom recovery yet. Once I can flash the Agat kernel with recovery and make that backup then I'll feel comfortable making more tweaks. I need to flash through Mobile Odin because I do not have a PC.

I see, I would like a custom recovery myself ... just waiting on Agats repack to be tweaked after we get JB kernal source. Also if you do F@$* up and get on a bootloop mobile odin won't help you do need a pc :( .Well like they always say good things come to those who wait. I have seen Agats repack make some huge improvements, I still have yet to try it.Code has I believe, he knows more about it than me.

what exactly do you have to change?

Depends on what your trying to do, but if you want to use apps not compatible just remove the BST from model product number. You can also make you phone recognized as a G Nexus if you know the model number and so on.Just be careful cause I still haven't got all foreign apps to work cause I can't write Korean etc.

Damn krowbar.. I didn't think about the root exploit not giving you a recovery. Well hopefully mobile Odin gets a update soon:(

That was the only downside to rooting with the exploit. Already have the Agat kernel on my sd card. Just waiting on Chainfire now...Also, and this is off topic, but I'm at almost 4 gigs for my month which doesn't end until the 19th and still no throttling yet. Strange part is I haven't done anything to try and disable it. Strange. Don't know if maybe I've changed something without knowing it lol.

Man I sure hope they come out with a mobile Odin that will work with this phone Cruz my computer just crashed....

are you on stock ROM or a Sprint ROM? Once you have gon to one of the custom sprint labeled ROMs that reflect a model number without the BST then mobile odin pro already works. It is seen as an epic 4g touch which is the same phone.

I'm on the blue Kuban ROM.every time I start Odin mobile it makes my phone freeze and then reboot..

Uninstall mobile Odin then get it again... That's the app. On boost stock ROM it doesn't even do that it just says this device is not supported and asks you to do a system dumps so maybe it will be supported in the future
