So, another lurker emerges. I've been shopping new phones for about two months, debating between Droid or Eris... Then I discovered the Inc. I've been dead-set on this phone since I first read about it, and most of that reading was done here. Now that the time is approaching, I figured I may as well register and begin participating because I will want to do so even more once I have the phone. Anyway, thanks for all the info and insight provided here. I look forward to being a part of the community.

This may have been mentioned already, and I apologize if it has, but does the newest version of Sense UI have the ability to display in landscape?

This is currently being debated. From what I've read, as of Android 2.1 w/latest version of Sense (like on the Desire) it does support landscape mode. I think this is also supported by the fact that the USB connector is on the side which makes it seem as though they're planning for landscape docking. Some folks are saying that landscape isn't possible w/o rooting which I'm sure was correct for older versions of Android/Sense but I guess we'll have to see. I'm thinking that it will support landscape...but that's my opinion from what I've read about the closest current phone to our Inc - the Desire. TIFWIW.
