I LOVE IT when a plan comes together!

Ok, so.

I had to pay full price for my Motion in order to get hooked up with the old 55 plan before it ended. 12 days later the big sale hits. So I beg and moan and whine and Mama Metro tightens me up with a full months service paid. So, that at least gets the cost of my Motion with No rebate mess down to $95.

My 2 Droid Xs are for sale here and on Das Bay. The Ebay deal ends up going to a lady who's two kids phones were stolen out of her car and she's a single Mom, sooo, for $80 she gets two decent working 3G phones for Verizon. That's a nice way for the deal to work I think.

Sooo, my Spirit is on it's way from Wirefly for $240. Minus the $80 for the Droid Xs and another $70 for my rebate gets me my Spirit for $90. I could have a "FREE" Spirit if I'd put my Motion on The Bay for $100 and they are still going for that there, but what the heck, a $95 Back Up phone as good as, and already set up just like I like, my Motion sounds like a great deal too.

My Motion for $95 and my Spirit for $90. Oh and a 1/2 price MetroPCS case for the Spirit.

Yeah Buddy!

I may have to drink a beer leftover from the Superbowl to celebrate.

How are you liking the Spirit so far ?

Call quality, speakerphone , Internet speed etc. as good as Motion plus the nicer screen ?

I got my Spirit the same week and it came out and let me tell you so far not a single issue whatsoever!! love this phone best one by far from metro i have owned!

I did a search for Wirefly promo codes. Well, I found one ('WIREFLYBLUE83') good for a free $19.99 (cheap) bluetooth headset on SELECT smartphones. It's been posted and good for over 11 months. I said what the heck and I tried on it the LG Spirit order page and IT WORKED!

Well today worked out ok in the end.

Somehow I had to dial *228 twice before I got a human and she said do another *228 after she did her activate thing. I did that and I had no service on either my Motion or the Spirit. and, I'm fresh out of carrier pigeons. So I went and did the chat thing and they got it cleared up. I sweated for maybe 5-8 min before FoGee! popped up.

The Spirit is all comfy in it's Metro case that actually fits very well. I'll be surprised actually if the case pops off when dropped. It's already set up about 95% the way my Motion is (don't fix somthing that ain't broke). There's a few aps I probably won't reinstall.

Had a little flinch with GTalk(?) Some porn spam ho-ish looking name was trying to talk (?) and it came thru like a text notification on this GTalk thingummer. I dug til I saw how to kill the notification for it and the damn thing did it again. I reset, Hell No! into it again and it's been quite since.

I think my 4G signal is a bit stronger and more consistent but I'll wait a couple days to be sure. Call quality was very clear and radio thru TuneIn loud enough.

And, verifly, verily, as promised, my rebate info is all in the envelope, stamped ready to go after having been triple checked. It'll be in the mail the day after I got the phone which is not the way I usually do things.

Yeah Spirit!

I'll keep the Motion out for a couple more days to be sure I have everything over like I like then put it all back in it's 2 month old box as a back-up. Wouldn't even be a bad thing to have to do that, it's been a great phone to me.

Ok, this seems like as good a place as any.

I think EVERYONE who got this phone plans came together. What a great phone and even Before you say, "for the money". But speaking of that, there's hasn't been a deal this good with Metro since the Motion for $150 with the $50 rebate when IT came out. $160 activated from Wirefly w/rebate is almost Crazy for this phone IMO.

I could whine about no LED but man am I happy with this phone. With the case I have on it, there just really isn't much I'd change.

I also enjoy seeing the S3 fanboys get excited when comparisons are made.

I'd say it's pretty undeniable that the Spirit from Wirefly with rebate is The Most Phone for the Buck on Metro hands down.
