As I've stated many times and yet nobody wants to believe, here is Android 2.1 on the EVO 4G.

Maybe they don't want it to rotate. They would have to come up with another graphic for the buttons at the bottom. I don't think it would work well in a similar shape but stretched. Also I don't spend alot of time on my desktop....its a place for quick info and to get from one app to another. So I really wonder how many people would care if it rotated.

The point is having it rotate whilst being docked.

I've read even the eris had it but it was a feature that was turned off by default. Even if that's not true, it always is able to be turned off so just because it's like that doesn't mean it isn't capable.

It shouldn't be slow on anything with a snapdragon anyways, and many things work better sideways such as internet, email, and texting (especially when you are using the keyboard).
