Root [ROM]{MS840} Number_Two v1.8 ~ ZVA

Has anyone actually tested out the Pdroid function ? I've been trying to block internet connection and what not with a few Apps but they all somehow connect !? Idk if its just me or if its the patch itself but can anyone check it out as well and give some feedback if its working or not for you guys.

And yes I already have the pdroid app installed... haha regardless thank you guys in advance :D

Oh yea, that reminds me... Been playing around with 1.8, so far everything has been good. I noticed you changed the order of the icons from something that brings up OCD in me which was a minor thing... To a revert to what it was, with the blank space. Here is some pix.

Either way, no worries about it. I appreciate your hard work on this rom, and I understand you are operating blind, without a device. If I can find a cheap LG Connect 4G, that works enough for dev work I will send it your way... ;)

Is that the stock home launcher, icons, ect. that is in this ROM?

Naw... The stock launcher that comes with Number Two is now Holo Launcher.

I use ADW EX Launcher. (Every update of Number Two I forcefully remove Holo Launcher). I bought it eons ago when I use run with the Samsung Galaxy Indulge, used it briefly for a week before I moved on to the Connect. But only recently I have used it as my Launcher of choice full on. I really like it, runs smooth and has a ton of customization options.

So far 1.8 is running perfectly... i think 1.4 was a smoother experience but BT fix is a big plus!

Thx Ldrifta
:)
blue tooth fix will work on basically 99% of the roms based on the stock 2.3.6, as long as no major alterations have been made to settings linking it to any 'other' mod, than you can flash it on any version ;)

Yes screen grabs from 1.8 would be awesome! I really like everything on 1.7 except the transparent status bar. I've been messing with the pdroid app and checking on apps that I install to let me know if an app wants to send data out but it never tells me anything. How do we know if it's working?

BTW, 1.7 was working awesome for me but now starting about 1.5 weeks ago my phone has started ghost rebooting and crashing about 2 to 4 times a day now. I sure do wish there was some way I could figure out what's causing it, an app I installed or what? Man I'm so tired of it and I'm sure Y'all are tired oof me complaining about it. I'm thinking about going back to stock and take my phone back to metro pcs and get a refurbished one, it just takes them like 3-4 weeks to get one back from metro pcs.... ahhhhh

I have heard a couple ppl say they are getting these reboots with #2 but I never got 1 reboot from ROM #2. Now when I installed one of the kernals ontop of the #2 ROM I got all the crazy reboots but when I leave the ROM alone as is with the speed kernal then I never get 1 reboot, im not sure if its an app that everyone must have dwnloaded or if im the luckiest mofo on this forum :D

Hey man thanks I hope you read this soon because as of tomorrow I will have moved on to the gs3 as well. I though the connect was a great phone when I got it. Especially since I upgraded from the ascend (even with cm7 it was horrible). And after a while I realized how gimped I was. Rom #2 definitely was thereason my phone lived as long as it has (over a year). The only thing I'm going to be sad about is having to need a case now :(

Anyway thanks for this amazing rom and hope to see you in the gs3 forums.
Send me your paypal please
I can't donate much but (im not even paying for my new phone im taking the credit route) but it's something and the best way to say thanks lol
