Customize capacitive buttons

Yeah, I had the Nexus prior to this phone, so have had the app switch Button there for well over a year now and still rarely use it.

I like the app switcher button, but if they had to sacrifice 1 button it should have been the search button instead of the menu button. I use the menu button daily, haven't used the search button in years. I'm guessing Google had something to do with that... :(

You guys don't use the switch button. That's weird. Multi-tasking is one of the biggest selling points of Android OS, and you guys don't make use of it?

Oh, I use the app switcher button daily. It's the google search button that I never use. If they had to get rid of one hardware button, it should have been that one. I don't mind doing a long press of the home key to get to the app switcher, that's what I was used to doing anyway on my old phone. I don't like giving up part of the screen for the new menu button when they should have just left it as a hardware button.

Oh I can definitely agree with that. I was talking more about the people who say they rarely use the app switcher. Since that's the only way to switch between apps, they are basically saying they don't do any app switching.

Kinda weird to me. I use all three buttons very regularly. It would be nice to have the menu button back. I don't really understand why they took it away. That said, I've gotten used to the onscreen button.
