My Seidio Surface case and holster arrived today!

I have to say, it is just as nice and sleek as all of the other Seidio cases I've had. It fits perfectly! My DNA seems much sleeker, slimmer, sexier now!

AND... The rear notification LED is easily visible!

I was a little worried that I would have trouble finding the power and volume buttons, but it's no problem, at least for me.

Highly recommended!

Well cancel the active case, one I saw the big "NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WIRELESS CHARGING" warning. Nuts.

While Wireless is nice, I think I am not totally sold on it. I have the Nokia 910 and its great, quiet, convenient and has a nice angle to the stand; but it really does charge it a lot slower.

I think I am going to sell my month old 910. Maybe I will pick up the Active case with some of the money in return. :D

EDIT: And the Active has a hole for the back mount LED as well.

I use my wireless charger on my night stand. So convenient, and don't worry about charge time, it's on it all night.

Very convenient. My stand is at my desk where I thought it would be great to take it off/on as I moved about during the day. Just doesn't do what I want though. Everything works, just my routine isn't conducive to using it.

Personally I could not care less about wireless charging. To me it's absolutely no trouble to take the half second to plug in the charger. I have absolutely zero interest in this technology.

I would have said the same thing - had I bought a phone that didn'd have a micro usb cover.

I hate that flimsy thing, but I don't want to rip it off.

@ BC

i've had my Vigor for over a year (i'm on my 2nd, a refurb from august). anyway, i had my old one rooted s-on and would like to root my current s-off. how did you s-off your Vigor? do you recommend an AiO, such as hasoon 2000? i've rooted my DInc, KF1 and wife's HP touchpad. i wouldn't say i'm an advanced user, but i'm familiar enough with command prompts, adb, etc.

thanks in advance.

p.s. i'm used to having max storage in my phones, but i'm incredibly attracted to the DNA. how do you get around having limited device storage? did you have to change habits or anything like that?

thanks again.

To whoever recommended the Seidio Active case, thanks! Mine came today and I really like it.

I have a wireless charger coming in a few days...the Active case is in two pieces. I plan on using the wireless charger at work, and just slipping off the outer metal portion (it removes easily) while charging. Hopefully that'll work!

Hmm, I didn't think about just doing this each night... I always liked the rubber inside piece because it was gentle on screen protectors, unlike TPU cases... I'll have to think about this again.

My Nexus orb charger arrived today, and it is charging thru the Seidio Active (and I left the outer portion of the case on). With this charger, you have to be pretty precise when placing the DNA on it. But it works!:)

Just got my orb too and works fine with the Diztronic TPU, and Incipio Fusion as well.

Curious though a few reviews mentioned the bottom of the orb being dirty, how did yours look? Mine looked like someone took it, rubbed it on the kitchen floor and threw it in a box.

Mine looks fine. The black ring that keeps it stationary on the desktop seems to collect lint/dust, though, so maybe that's it.

Works really well!

I've been researching cases in another forum. Many have stated that they use the wireless chargers with the Seidico Active case. One person said that, if they placed it improperly, the metal kickstand got a bit hot but nobody has had any problems charging with it. People have even used the wireless charging with Otterbox cases and those things are massive.

If you want this case I wouldn't worry about the disclaimer that says it isn't "guaranteed" to work with all wireless chargers. It seems to work just fine.
