So my buddy has verizon and I have sprint. I can't tell him to check out the ltevo, but the droid razor max looks nice. I have no Idea what the verizon line up looks like. anyone care to give a hand? one friend says to get the nexus, his dad says the iPhone. neither of which I care for.

Check out the DNA, s3, and note 2. The maxx has great battery life though

Those are verizons top of the line phones IMO. Verizon only has the galaxy nexus.

Stay away from nexus devices on Verizon. They get updates Months after they are released for the other nexus devices

I can move this to either the Verizon forum or the device comparison forum if you'd prefer to get a larger audience

If he can afford top of the line ($300 with plan) I would recommend either the RAZR MAXX HD or the Galaxy Note 2. Both have great battery life. The Note is HUGE, so he should try it out. The RMHD is very well built and a great phone. The camera is it's one weak spot but it's not as people say it is.

If he wants a great phone for less money you can't go wrong with the S3. It's been out a while but for the money it's a great phone. Those would be my suggestions.

comparison please Rxpert! he's going to be upgrading next week so I could use a lot of feed back. he's been using one of the early palm devices since high school I think. So I want to show him the best we have to offer for verizon phones. windows phones I know 0% about. so feed back on those too.

Said that early on in this post. This is the RAZR M forum not the RAZR MAXX forum. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME PHONE!!!!!!!!!!! :) :)

RAZR MAXX on left. RAZR M on right:

since the op was in january and several other guides posted in it and never moved it, besides it isn't hurting anything so it isn't that big of a deal.

The OP was most concerned with VZW phones, I wanted to move it to Verizon forum but the date of the OP was in January. the maxx was brought up in this post. and went on from there with other mentions of other phones but the M was never mentioned, this should have been moved to VZW section.

but since the dates of this topic are over and done with we can leave this post alone and it will fade into the black, or we can move it to the verizon forum. regardless the OP has an answer for his question even though it did not involve the moto razr m it did involve the discussion of motorola products, maybe if someone brought up the M then it would easily be justified into staying into this forum, but now i will leave it up to the mods to make a determination.

Well considering:

he picked the Max HD

And...

small snag, can't figure out how to get files onto the device and apparently it needs a key to put in a MicroSD, which is nowhere to be found. any ideas?

...were both asked and answered, why don't we just close this one up and let it fade slowly into the AF hall of fame archives. Problem solved.

Syi, PM me if you feel strongly this should be reopened. Otherwise, if you have any new questions, feel free to start a shiny new thread in whatever forum is relevant to your query. :)
