Word Application

I am aware that Android ins't specific to business operations as of yet. But, I use GDocs which works great when grabbing and loading word documents, but does anyone have a suggestion as to which application I should use to edit & create Microsoft or OpenOffice documents? I don't have a problem buying an app, but, I just want to make sure I buy the right one. Keep in mind that I will have to edit pre-formatted word documents such as time sheets, purchase requests, etc and submit to my boss via the phone email.

Thanks

Try documents to go. The free version lets you view, the full version lets you edit.

Thanks for the info!

I heard that the paid apps can be returned within 24hrs, I just didn't want to go that route just because billing issues happen, and I didn't want to be stuck arguing the billing of an app that I returned. But, if I don't hear anything on an app, I will start shopping around. Either way, thanks for the reply!

I am happy with Documents to Go (I have paid) it supports MS Office files up to 2007...

I use it mostly for the Spreadsheet portion, and it does fine with formulas etc. I have a budget spreadsheet that I use to track some portions of my finances, and I can enter it on the road, or let the computer mount the SD card and edit it with Excel 2007.

As mentioned, you have 24 hours to get a refund, and I have returned a few different programs and been credited appropriately.

Thanks for the information. Still being new to Android, I want to make sure that once I edit a document with this program it can still be loaded onto google docs.

I've used Documents to go on Palm/Blackberry and now Android. It's a great program and well worth the $10 or is it $15 now?

I keep track of my work on 4 spreadsheets with quite complex formulas and it works great!

The only issue I've ever had with it is sometimes when sending a file from to computer to the phone or phone to computer the layout of the spreadsheet will be a bit different. Just the the row/column sizes. You'll have to adjust it manually from one to the other.
