I wish more stores carried accessories for other devices. Not just for Apple.
I loathe buying my device one place then having to hunt all over the globe for accessories.

My feeling as well. I'm really interested in a good case for the tablet, not a folio cover. I just bought one to use as a universal remote and to let my two year old son read books and play with. I can't find anything except really cheap tpu and silicone cases our the Otterbox defender. I'm looking for something that will protect the tablet in a table height fall and keep it scratch free.

I have been very happy with the Roocase cases. I have them for several devices, including my SGT 2 7.0 and Note 10.1.They have a specific version for this device, and it fits perfectly. They have a flip cover, and a zip portfolio. Both share the same inner "bikini" sleeve that can be rotated using velcro. It makes it a tad thicker, but I especially like being able to use only that inner case when I don't need screen protection.

IO have been using this case for a few months now, and I really like it. It has a nice feel, just like the old fashioned folios that I still sometimes carry. The magnets hold the cover in place pretty well, and I have dropped the tab a few times, and it has done its job of protection.

As with any case that wraps around to the edges of the screen, once in a while I pull the tablet out to clean the screen, since a normal wipe-down in the case leaves a little line of dirt along the edges of the case after time... Not a problem functionally, but it bothers me. :)

One negative (only slight) is that the case doesn't work well with the tablet mount I use when I use the Tab 2 as a GPS, but not a real problem since the tab slides in and out of the case pretty easily. But rest assured, even though it slides in and out easily, because of the leather flap that holds it in, it should never come out unintentionally.

Ive tried the Samsung case on mine, but it opened and closed the wrong direction! Instead of the cover opening right to left, like a book, it was opposite. And the way the plastic is molded, you cant turn the tab around to fit the right way.

I also tried another case, also by Samsung, I think, where the tab could rotate to make the case a stand. It worked very well over all, but made the tab pretty bulky. That wasnt a positive, seeing as I am now using the tablet as my phone, since my zte warp bit the dust a few months ago.

So then i ordered a cheap folio type cover, made of tpu rubber. It works pretty good, and doesnt add a lot of bulk. My biggest complaint is that the screen is still able to sense touch from the cover itself. So if you accidentally turn the screen on with the cover closed, simply pressing on the cover can launch apps, send messages, etc. Also the black color tends to make the tab a little warmer than without a case (its a white tab) when its docked in my car. And I should mention that the tpu rubber molded hinges dont have a very quality feel when opening and closing the cover.

So, after all of that, I find myself going case-free more often than not. Out of the three styles ive tried though, i would have to say that the Samsung folio case (non rotating) is hands-down the nices one.
...If only it opened like a book...

Hi. Ordered a pretty basic revolving stand case for my Galaxy Tab 2 (7") GT-P3110

Not only have they sent the wrong size case (too tall & narrow with screen cam hole in the centre top), but it doesn't look great quality either.

I'm not turning up many results googling 'best Galaxy Tab 2 cases', as it's just showing a million eBay entries...

I was wondering does anyone out there know of particularly good but reasonably priced stand/cases I can get easily here in the UK, or maybe you've seen a review page with a load of them on? I see most of the links on here are for US sites.... Needs to completely enclose the tab when not in use, and act as a stand when I need it...

Cheers.
