Just got it last night for my Tab 2 7 (gt-p3100). Two new apps that I've noticed: Paper Artist, and Group cast. The Gallery app has changed. Noticed a new feature in the display settings (At least I don't remember it) call smart stay. Keeps the tab on regardless of screen timeout if the tab can detect your eyes. Tried it and a lot depends on lighting.

Thanks for the reply.... so looks like even tab will have the same features like the note 2 and the s3. i am sure there should be a multi-window feature included then there two.
I'm in Canada with an unlocked tab 2 international version (updates by way of Hong Kong). There is no multi-window feature that I can find. The only change in the display settings is the "smart stay".
You might not be able to update your device to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean right away as the update is rolling out in phases. So, it might not yet be available for your country or network provider (If Your device is Carrier branded) but don
I'm looking for the same information. (I also went back to 4.0, like you.)
From the screenshots in the article linked by AnciusD there seem to be some new options regarding the notification bar. But it looks as if the bar itself is still stuck at the top.
looks like samsung is going to stick to nexus7 UI style with the seven" tablets.. notification bar will be always on top now.. I have learned to leave with that.. so this update will bring all the features from note and the S3. the multi-window and the new notification bar is gr8 on s3 and i always wanted the smart stay feature on the tab.
Have you manually checked, or plugged it into a PC with Kies installed? What version are you on? Model GT-P3113? Is it rooted?
If it came from your carrier (AT&T, Verizon etc.) I'm not going to be much help, because mine is the wifi-only version, purchased from a retailer. It's possible the carrier is responsible for pushing out updates, and not Samsung. I just don't know.
