RhythmicRom v1.3 with Beats Audio + Tweaks



CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.2.x (JB), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Installing Instructions:

• Download [Alternate] the latest version of RhythmicRom
• Copy zip to your SD-card
• Boot into Recovery Mode
• Wipe EVERYTHING! (Factory Reset, Cache, Davlik Cache)
• Flash latest version of RhythmicRom
• Once completed reboot into Bootloader
• On your computer, extract boot.img from ROM into your working fastboot/adb directory
• Get into fastboot
• Run: fastboot flash boot boot.img
• Reboot
• Enjoy!

Updating Instructions:

• Download [Alternate] the latest version of RhythmicRom, or use the OTA Updater!

Good morning Awidawad, tried your rom last night. Played some more with it today. Pretty smooth rom.
Today I experienced a freeze. Playing around with maps, clicked search and it froze. trebuchet crashed so had to reboot.
My signal bar is showing a lower signal usually 1 bar, using tmobile, usually have 4 bars at home. Can still make calls and it is clear just not used to low signal bar.
Netflix loads, I can choose which show I want to watch but it just stays at the red screen and the loading circle just keeps on going.

Yes, the random reboots and crashes are a pain... I attempted to fix in my latest build. So far I've only had one random reboot when I received an sms message while locked and pressed the sleep/wake button it rebooted. And hmmm I haven't tried netflix yet I'll look into that. Try updating to v1.2d maybe it could fix your problem Thanks for your feedback I'm always looking for ways to improve my work

From what I've heard over on XDA no it does not. There is a patch that's supposed to fix the radio issue but don't know what happened to it. Maybe my next build will include it but if I were you I'd flash the old radio for now like most of us primo users have good luck!

I flashed this because it seemed the most promising out of a lot of choices that was recent. Seems to work pretty well, but your kernel is rebooting almost as soon as it's booted (I can barely finish typing my wifi password). I wiped everything and reinstalled twice; no help. Have you heard anything about this? I eventually pillaged a kernel from...err, some other distro ant that's working...mostly-- it broke wifi. But I'd prefer not using slow 3G when my 802.11 is right here. Thanks.

hey man, super stoked on this ROM. good work!

i had a suggestion though, it's real minor but when you ask the phone to reboot the only option is a system reboot. it's helpful when you can choose options, like reboot to recovery or bootloader.


*** also beats doesn't seem to make a difference in the sound. am i missing something? and as for the camera the ucam app works fine for snapping pics, too bad the camcorder still isn't working

Can anyone confirm this is now working on the new radio OTA update from VM???Have the new radio but also HBOOT 1.57 that cant be downgraded and having bootloops on almost any other rom on top of not being able to go back stock.
