Hi all, as a new user bear with me. I downloaded several rt/nt/als using the htc USB connection. After I rebooted the phone I set up the rt/nt and als the way I wanted them. Then all of a sudden they all disappeared into htc default 2010 file on my phone. When I enter the file I see the sounds I downloaded, but there are no arrows beside them so I cannot retrieve them. What happened and can I reverse it?? HTC Rezound:mad:

Welcome, rcbob. Sorry to see you lost your sounds. I've wondering which folder they went to, specifically (the folder path: /root/media/whatever) and if it was a system folder that was over written by/during the reboot.

Some media folders are touchy that way. ;)

Let's get you to the Rezound area so one of the users of that device can give you help with more clarity of experience with that device:

HTC Rezound - Android Forums

If your Rezound is rooted, head to the All Things Root area right above the main Rezound area in that link. :)

What I did was watched youtube video got ideas and opened the files of the htc. I also placed folders on the desktop and found the sounds and placed them in the folders. Then I opened alarms and put in the alarm. Then ringtones and so on.The once all of the sounds were in the htc folders I rebooted the htc and the sounds were then moved by hand to the ringtone etc. Then I watched as they all disappeared. I left the phone and thought. 2 hours later I picked up the phone went to settings/personalize and the sounds were all there????? I then moved them to their folders and all is well. I have no idea what occurred, does it matter? No the htc is not rooted, carrier is VZ. Thanks for the help, Bob
