Where can I get a deal on a Sprint Hero?

My Curve died today. I have been wanting a Hero but have put it off. I live in Atlanta. Now I have no choice. A few weeks ago I saw some great deals. Now I am not seeing anything for upgrade less than $150. Does anyone know of any great deals? Thanks in advance.

On a serious note, no real idea...if you're just looking for the phone, have you tried ebay? Otherwise I thought best buy was doing them for like 70 bucks or something like that...maybe it ended, I dunno

If you're willing to do something a little sketchy, you can buy links on ebay to use other people's corporate discount sites. You get the phone for free (or really cheap) and then you get a percentage off your bill every month. The link will cost you like $25. I AM NOT RECOMMENDING THIS, but I did it myself in November and it worked for me. If you get desperate, it is an option.

No, I wasn't jesting. While I know how to shop, I appreciate deals others have found that are still available when I am looking to buy something, and there are many other folks who want help, as well. The OP asked if anyone knew of any great deals. I'm just saying that someone's suggestion was "highway robbery" doesn't realy help the OP, or anyone else that might look to this thread for help.

Just got mine off craigslist and the phone was brand new. I paid $200 for it. You can probably find it for cheaper in your area. Just make sure to call sprint and check the ESN number before handing the money over.

Agreed! If youd like to do it the simple way and the honest way, watch the bestbuy and radio shack adds. I did and bestbuy offered it a few weeks ago for like $99 out the door. They usually alternate back and forth but the reason i bought from best buy was because the price you pay, (say $99) is it. No hidden fees.

Wow, I just looked at Walmart's site....$49 with new contract and after $100 mail-rebate and $219 for an upgrade! What's up with that?!
