Help Sound issues on my S2

Hey everyone,

I cant hear some sounds on my phone. It will play ringtones, and notifications but if I open any game i cannot hear that sound. I also cant hear someone who calls and they cannot hear me.

All my volume levels are at max.

Any ideas?

The media level is at the max too?

Pull the battery fit s couple minutes and see if that would make a difference?

Media volume is also maxed.

Pulled battery and replaced it. No change.

Could this be helped by a factory reset?

Ehh I'm can't 100% say if it would or wouldn't work.

If you choose to, don't forget to make s backup of your apps and stuff so your not losing everything.

Well I factory reset. Still no audio in games or on the though the earpiece. WTF.

Anyone have any ides why it plays ringtones but not anything else?

I had a similar issue... Some tones were working, then system tones were not working. Then a week went by and the whole thing reversed. I installed AudioManagerPro, and I can now control all sounds at all times. If this is a software issue, this cheap app should help you. If it's a hardware issue, then I don't know... In any case, this cheap app is really useful.
