I think some people were saying that the 1.6 source would be released in April. I've got no source to back this up nor do I really believe it, but it's been said by some users.

There might be hope. (probably not )

i think this comes from a missinterpreted joke, someone sayed jokingly there where tree possible. release dates: april 1st 2010, april 1st 2011 or same day as duke nukem forever...
as far as i know samsung stated it would most likely come 1st quarter of 2010.

guys, please dont forget, leaked does not mean released, i know, the 1.5 firmwares were most bad, but looks like they tried hard to get a working donut out. lets see what job they finally did... and lets hope they open the sources yesterday or even faster...

the sad thing is that italians obviously can update theiir phones officially as we speak, but we still don0t have an affirmative post from there...

However we do have an affirmative answer that Russians can update to 1.6 (JC6) via NPS, or so says informale.
