NPCS Official Response from O2/Samsung

Sigh.. and a whole lot better than what i got from finland. Which was a silly cut and paste reply (which had a few lines missing). In essence saying, we don't have an official channel for reporting problems.

I wasn't even asking for much. I was asking for a place where to report problems with the current official firmware, no support, just plain and simple pre-chewed bug reports. But no, apparently they don't have anything like that.

Currently I'm going through people I know that sell phones, if they happen to have a contact inside samsung so that i could ask the same question without going through the customer support.

I'm seriously doubting my decision to buy a samsung phone...

I've chased samsung UK a couple of times now, this is the latest response:

In response to your query with regards to connecting your i7500 to New PC Studio, at present the software
is not compatible with this model of phone. We are aware of the issue and a compatible version of the
software is currently being developed. We will be able to contact you once this is available.

In the meantime you will be able to send and receive files to and from the internal memory and also the memoy card
by accessing them them through My Computer on your PC.

I have tried access through My Computer with no success, keep getting an insert disk message!

you've got to mount the device. Scroll down the notification bar when the USB message prompts and select it, then 'Mount', and you should be able to access the phone's internal SD

Thanks bitxboi Finally I can get some sounds on the go I had read this on a number of forums and had managed to overlook the notification box on the galaxy had been looking at the pc for the notification doh! Anyhow works a treat and I'm feeling a whole lot happier might not return her to O2 now! Come on Samsung give us an updated firmware and all will be well!
