Help Daylight Savings Time

I have a Samsung Galaxy 5.0 Player. I live in the Atlantic Time Zone. During the winter everything is fine. However, whenever we switch to daylight savings time, both Atlantic Time and Easter Time show as GMT-4:00. VERY annoying. I have to set my time 1 hour ahead and when I travel to an Eastern Time Zone I have to use Bogota instead of Eastern. Then my Calendar is all messed up.

I am going to try something different and set my time zone to Brazilia which now shows my correct time. Maybe that will solve the problem. I have read other posts on here but most of them talk about automatic time zones which is a phone feature.

Why not a public answer... my 5.0 switched the hour, even though our entire time zone should stay fixed year round. My other devices recognize there is no daylight shifting nonsense.

Sorry this is a bit late but in settings do you have "automatic time zone" checked?
Since your time zone doesn't experience the shift I'd uncheck that setting if it is checked.
