So we just found root for this phone, since the thread where it is being discussed isn't organized, thought I'd make a more official thread on how to root the Coolpad Quatrro 4G.

Download and Install framaroot.apk on your phone.

Go to settings > applications > development > and make sure USB debugging is enabled.

Now open up Framaroot and it should show the following:

Choose either Superuser or SuperSU (Which one you're most comfortable with as both work)

Then simply hit "Gimli" and your phone should be rooted immediately, once rooted reboot your phone. Enjoy! :)

EDIT: Do not disable USB Debugging after you've rooted your phone or you will loose root. In case that happens just re-do the steps above, don't uninstall framaroot after rooting your phone because as I posted above if you accidently disable USB Debugging you're going to need it again so its best kept installed just in case.

Credits:

andriodadmirer - For finding the root and getting all of this started, so a very big thanks to you!

alephzain - For framaroot.apk allowing us to finally find a working root. Here is his original thread on XDA.

I didn't have to reinstall after I disabled usb debugging. I used the SuperSU; would that have made a difference in the effect on the usb debugging thing?

Yea that could've. SuperSU is better, I just used Superuser instead because im more used to it but now that you mention that you didnt have the usb debugging problem I'd advise everyone else to use SuperSU instead.
