So, it's a hard plastic case & not TPU?
Guess I'll keep this one when it arrives, but, now I'm off to find a TPU clear case. I prefer it for the feel in-hand vs. hard plastic cases.

I've searched for different ones, but thus far, I'm still liking the Atmosphere, by Poetic. It's a PC/TPU combo with a transparent back and colored sides. I know I posted it before, but I still can't find one I like better.

I'm probably going to pick one of these up as well. I am worried about the grainy look of the plastic in the pictures of the case by itself. I'm getting a silver One and don't want the look of the back to be grainy.

By the way, toad, you can get those poetic cases on amazon for 10 dollars and free shipping..

I think the "grain" is texture. At first I just thought it was the pics themselves, but if you look at just the case itself, on Poetics site, you CAN see a bit of grain. I don't think it a deal breaker for me. It still shows the phone in almost all its glory, which is better than covering the whole thing up with some of the other cases I've seen. Rest assured, the BEST one will come out AFTER I've opened the package for whichever one I decide on buying!!! ;)

Oh and thanks for reminding me about the Amazon deal. I had completely forgot about it! :D

Got my transparent case today from the DX-Box link provided previous. (Just over 2 weeks delivery)

Metal-Slim Ultra-thin Transparent Case For HTC ONE M7

It's a bit thicker than other snap fit type cases i've had before, fits well, nice and clear so doesn't hide any of the phone, sits pretty flush with the screen, so a flat drop would probably risk screen damage (although my phone is fitted with the skins talked about elsewhere as well, so case may protrude further without them on).

I'm happy with the skins on mine, so this will be used as extra protection when needed for work or fishing or something.:D

both of my cases arrived today from HK. poor customer service, won't order from them again that is for certain.

now all i need is the phone...

Got mine in today, total time from order to delivery was exactly 3 weeks, which was to be expected.

I had misunderstood CRAFTYCARPER's description/review of the case & thought it was a 2-piece case.
Glad to see that it's not,as I was wanting a minimalist case w/this phone.

I'll wait until I actually put this to use before giving a  or

Otterbox is doing their usual Commuter/Defender. The Defender in the picture looks like just a hard case though, no silicone outer jacket. Weird...
Ballistic Case is releasing a SG case and the SG Maxx for those that want a belt holster. The SG has always been my favorite case. I've never used the MAXX but it looks promising.
Nothing over at Trident Case yet.
Seidio looks like they're getting things ready but nothing official yet. Let's hope they make an extended battery and matching case.

I've tried a few cases now as there are times when I am out at work and need to have the phone with more protection than just a screen protector.

HTC Double Dip Flip case. My phone doesn't sit in it correctly and won't 'snap in' at the corners. This renders the case useless as the phone could fall out.

HTC Double Dip case with the red top and black bottom bars. This really doesn't play very well with my screen protector as it pushed it up at the corners. Coupled with the fact that it is hard to put on and take off and will doubtless scratch the phone with constant removal. A shame as it is quite compact.

TPU 'gel' cases. Neither of the TPU cases I have have afforded me access to the power button. Both of them make it so that you really have to force the button down to turn on or off your device. These cases are about as useful as a chocolate ashtray on a motorbike because you just can't turn the phone on or off without pushing hard.

My favourite case for my iPhone was a Speck Candyshell and I am glad to see they are bringing one out for the HTC One. It's not available in the UK yet so I may just end up buying this from the USA instead.

EDIT: Not at almost 65 USD form the Speck website I won't! I'll wait for it to come to these shores.

I got in on this a few minutes ago w/the $12 option.Should it work w/the ONE,I'd be more than happy to get one sent your way.

Ok, thanks, i see the options now, international shipping included if i make the $12 donation.....anybody used this sort of scheme before?

Looks like a great little gadget to store stuff on, and really small.

Edit: Then again, for 12 bucks i guess it's worth a punt.

Hi everyone, expecting my HTC one this week I use my current galaxy all the time as a sat nav in the van. I really like the look of the car dock and the feature to turn on car mode when the phone is connected. However as I'm in the building trade I need to use a case and this means taking it off every time I get in the van. I read you can get a cable which activates the car mode when it's plugged in ? Therefore I could use my old holder and keep the case on ? Anyone know about this ? Also when it switches on car mode does it turn on Bluetooth as I use a parrot hands free ? Would this be the best solution .
Thanks

The Kidigi car dock (when released) allows the phone to fit with a case on.

Little known fun fact - in the HTC Car application, tapping the connection icons at the bottom brings up settings for those.

Auto-connecting to known Bluetooth devices is one of the options.

If you have any trouble with compatibility with cables or holders that work for you, consider putting an NFC tag in your vehicle. Program it (not difficult) to switch you to car mode.

That looks like a fantastic case for the One. I would definetely purchase it myself, shame it's so damn expensive.

Just ordered, transparent case

Just took a close look at this,to compare to this:

Metal-Slim Ultra-thin Transparent Case For HTC ONE M7

While they have different SKU's,they appear to be the same, except in two important areas:

1) PRICE:the latter is 3x as expensive as the former

2) The product description in this one :

Ultra Thin Clear Hard Case Cover for HTC ONE M7

Shows photos of the HTC ONE but, product description describes a perfect fit for a SONY model.

Might wanna do some Q & A w/ iPhone 5 Cases | iPhone 5 Screen Protectors l The new iPad Cases | Samsung Galaxy 3 Cases | iPad 2 Cases | Google Nexus 7 Screen Protectors - DX-BOX.COM before ordering.

The ONE supports OTG so this should work.

I have an OTG adapter that will work for the ONE already (its for my moto xoom) and as I mentioned earlier in this thread you can pick up an adapter right now from amazon and/or fleabay for pennies. These adapters have been out for a long time so the cost is quite low. With an OTG adapter, you can attach more than just a memcard so it may be worth it anyway just to grab one..

I know it isn't tested on the One yet, but does anyone see any reason why i wouldn't work on the One?
