I recently tried to root my phone with hasoons root tool, but somehow messed up. I followed all the steps but still failed. But any way, my phone would get stuck at the logo booting screen ever since I failed. I followed a bunch of tutorials, but none worked for me. I factory reseted my phone as a tutorial told me too, and now usb debugging is now disabled (or I believe so, the command prompts won't work) I then followed more tutorials, and locked my bootloader, and tried to load a stock rom through recovery as a zip file. Now when ever I boot up my phone, I get into bootloader, no matter hat I do. Also, when ever I try to go into recovery, I see the HTC screen and bootloader opens up again. Can someone please help me, this phone is very special to me, and I don't want to lose it. It's T-mobile if that helps. I'm a noob and I'm new, so please don't be harsh. Someone pllease help me ASAP, thanks in advance.

Hello htcamaze.

Well, you've got yourself in a bit of a bind after all those changes. The fact that your device shunts to the bootloader when attempting to access recovery tells us that recovery is corrupted and needs to be left out of the process until you've successfully flashed a ROM. I can't even be certain if the bootloader is pristine, by your description of events.

There is an unbricking project going at XDA for HTC devices (no jig as with Samsung Androids, unfortunately)..it has caveats such as the need for the RUU, etc. Have a look at the page:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1627882

If things look hopelessly complicated, it may be time to explore for a hands on tech who can actually treat it as a repair. What I'm really hoping is that an HTC expert is in here and can offer assistance. Let's see if somebody chimes in.

Thanks for trying, I'll take a look at it and give it a shot. I really appreciate that you at least tried.

T-mobile, thank you so much for replying back. I didn't expect any one to reply that fast since this is an old phone lol. I'll check back early in the morning, it's almost 12:00, I had a long day today.

Ok so you should flash this RUU.
IF YOU DONT HAVE AN EXTERNAL SDCARD THIS WONT WORK!
The Steps are:
1. Download this Dev-Host - RUBY_ICS_35_S_TMOUS_2.14.531.3_R2_Radio_1.14.550L.17DC_30.78.550L.15_release_262141_signed.zip - The Ultimate Free File Hosting / File Sharing Service
2. Place the RUU on your external sd card.
3. Boot into the Bootloader by holding the Power Button + Volume Down or Up lol i forget which one.
4. The Update should begin automatically.

If this doesnt work let me know and will figure it out.

Didn't work, when it starts up, it goes automatically to fastboot, and when it updates it says "no image" under each of the phrases. I relocked my bootloader for another for another tutorial, should I unlock it again? I can't enter recovery; I see the HTC logo screen and I get back into fastboot. I did put the file on an SD card as is. I forgot to mention this earlier, but one tutorial told me tho use Hasoon's tool and to use the mainver error fix. Also hen ever I plug in my phone, I need the Android 1.0 plugin, or else my computer can't read my phone. Can I get a link for the plugin?

oh yeah forgot that you need to relock your bootloader for it to work.
and make sure you rename the zip file to PH85IMG. Put the zip into the ext-sd and try again.
Also need to know if your amaze is s-off?
