I also still do not have any status from Best Buy... Showing "not available" from any nearby store as well.

Have you called customer service? Call and complain, they are so clueless and full of shit, made me feel like they were taking care of stores before people who pre-ordered. They couldn't even tell me what was going on at the warehouse level or anything. Not sure where you live but, I am fortunate to have a handful of stores around me so I switched to store p/u instead of waiting for delivery.

None really in stock near me, but I looked in VA for instance, and all the stores have them in stock... Not happy that BestBuy took pre-orders and then didn't account for their pre-orders, but have stock sitting on shelves around the country!!

Just surprised as to why such a far-off date was quoted to you when there are plenty of phones in stock around the country. Doesn't make sense.Perhaps a store close to you can contact the nearest store w/stock & have one shipped for pick-up.

I feel your pain, seriously I do. When the LTEvo dropped I pre-ordered from my local bestbuy. I was notified I could stop in and get my phone, only problem was, I was working out of state!! I had to wait until I was back in town to get mine. :(

In the end the wait was sooo worth it. I really appreciated it when I did get it. :)

See if another BB with stock will send one to your store. It's worth a try.

For all those interested I just received this email from Newegg, looks like now I'll only have $9.99 into this phone since the original price was $129.99 which was brought down to $29.99 with the $100.00 HTC trade in deal, and now down to $9.99 with the $20.00 visa gift card, I guess good things do come to those that wait!

I wouldn't mind being patient, if I didn't know that they have them in stock on store shelves all over the country...

Speaking of I called a store in Denver that had 2 in stock, to see if I could switch my order to in store pickup. They tried, but couldn't do it, the system wouldn't let them. So I called BB.com and they also couldn't switch the order. So I will have to wait.

I've ordered via BEST BUY as well,for the T-MOBILE version.

Order Date: APRIL 17
CC Payment/Hold: APRIL 17
ETA/Shipping Date: APRIL 24/25

Early A.M.today,the payment/hold disappeared from my bank account.Called BEST BUY & they stated that this is a normal occurrence when an order hasn't shipped within 7 days of the transaction & to expect it to re-appear when the order ships.
Well,sure enough,about an hour ago,the payment/hold re-appeared but,I've yet to see a change in status on my BEST BUY account or an e-mail alert w/a tracking number.I'm guessing that I'll see an e-mail sometime in the next 12 hrs or so.Hoping so,as no T-MOBILE stores in my area will have any HTC ONE's in stock for opening day tomorrow. :(

I'm optimistic w/BEST BUY,as I've had nothing but positive outcomes w/all of my purchases w/them,going back about ten years now. :)

UPDATE:

BEST BUY order is now being processed,w/3 of 4 order steps completed:

1) Order Received (Done)
2) Payment Validated (Done)
3) Preparing Order (Done)
4) Shipped (Pending)

Looks like the ETA of APRIL 24/25 will hold up. :D

They allowed me to switch BUT, I still don't have a phone!!

This started on Monday. Yesterday I was in the store with the GM and a customer service rep on the phone working together and they couldn't get "the system" to allow me to have the phone w/out cancelling my order and charging me another $200 while I wait for the original $200 they already have be credited back to me.
Just noticed Best Buy has moved my complaining thread from their forums to be reviewed by their mods.

I pre-ordered mine from T-Mobile on Monday afternoon and received it yesterday afternoon along with the free car dock. Pretty amazed at their order fulfillment efficiency though their web site has some room for improvement for order tracking, etc.

That was exactly why I chose BEST BUY for my T-MOBILE HTC ONE purchase.That,& not to mention that BB had ordering available before T-MOBILE,so,it stood to reason that I'd get it from them sooner than waiting for T-MOBILE & their rears in-gear.

Glad to hear all worked out well for you :congrats:,despite T-MOBILE's most recent 4-day system meltdown. :pcguru: ................. :vollkommenauf:

Ordered mine earrrrllllyy this morning. Seems May 2nd is the arrival date for me. 5 days later the last stage of the ordering process finally worked was able to sign document and the button turned green. I thought I could just call Customer Care order it but they said not avail only online. I wonder if I'll get the car kit. Went with silver as black shows EVERY finger print you put on your phone.

After days of heartache and frustration, I walked out of Best Buy with my phone!! I had to cancel my pre-order and just start over as a walk in customer. Now I'm a little overwhelmed with "newness" after over two years on the OG Evo. I am a creature of habit and I'm trying to give the launcher and keyboard a go before I switch back to Go and Swiftkey.

Btw: I somehow talked to the same customer service rep twice during my many calls and he is sending me a $45 gift card for all the shit and aggrevation I went through!! :D
