Accessories HTC ONE accessories (discussion, user reviews)

I had the El Tevo and I had the orginal Sprint car dock that puts phone into docking mode. So your saying the One will fit in this dock? I'll have to look at the back of it and get my boyfriend to do that. Thanks for the tip I don't mind having to plug it in snf starting my car dock app.

not sure which phone u had/have, but for those who have the car dock for EL TEvo , unscrewing 3 screws from the back will allow u to remove the charging piece that sticks up from the cradle, allowing the ONE to fit with or without a case. I have a TPU type case which is not super thick, and it fits perfectly...obviously u have to plug the charger in to the phone and manually activate bt, but if the official car dock isn't an option for you yet and you have the evo, this works GREAT...just sharing

Regardless of which case(s) you opt for,I HIGHLY recommend the XTREME GUARD BODY SKIN:

HTC ONE M7 Screen Protector

Along w/protection against scratching,etc..it provides for a firmer grip in-hand.

Add a bumper guard & this level of protection may be all you need.

As silly as this may sound, this is one of my favorite accessory purchases for any phone to date, including B/T peripherals,docks,cases,etc.. as it is a true accessory in that does not detract from the original form factor & adds nothing more.

Use the current "60off" coupon @ checkout & you can't go wrong. :D

Any of you cats looking to get a car cradle OTHER than the HTC official one?

Already HAVE a car cradle you care to share with the class? ;)

I already had Aduro U-GRIP Plus Universal Car Mount for Smart Phones for my Evo 3D, I had gotten it through Google Offers for $19. It works great for the One, suction cup is very strong and lasts, have had it mounted to both windshield and dash w/o any trouble, prefer it on the dash actually, but that's just my preference. I would assume that if it'd fit a Note 2, than it should be able to fit a One with an Otterbox case.

Thank you for the idea!

In my case I had to remove 4 screws. Charging circuit slid right out.

Phone with the metal slim case fits snug as a bug in a rug.

Extremely piss poor photograph but you get the idea...

Saved me from getting yet another dock that would be obsolete next year when the next new whiz bang phone comes out...

Many thanks.....

I guess not, $3.25 shipped to Canada for a screen and body protector!

I already have a ghost armor antiglare matte screen protector on so this will be a backup, however the body is naked right now and my one took a spill from about waist height today onto my garage floor. Surprisingly there was only one small noticeable nick by the beats logo..

Gotta get this thing covered up but still show it off.

Thanks again

Just got my Zagg full body screen protector in the mail today since I messed up the screen protector the first time getting my dogs hair all up under there lol and the guys at sprint so kindly reapplied it for me but they got lint under it too, so I registered at Zagg.com and got a replacement and did a mini upgrade to just get the full body, so far so good I managed to not get dog hair under it :D

Mine had 4 screws also but I have the Otterbox Commuter and it doesn't quite fit. I mean I can use it but part of it one side doesn't fit down in there like the other side and I'm not taking my case off and on every time. I'm gonna try it when I get in my car here in a bit as long as it is sturdy and doesn't fall out I'm good. I am just so used to having my phone in a dock since my El Tevo. I don't mind plugging in every time or opening up my car dock app. I have the case in the dock now sitting here on my desk and I shook it and moved it around and it's not going to fall out it's just uneven the left side sticks up a bit and doesn't fir down in there like the right side does but hey it's good enough for me.

Thank you for the idea!

Was just wondering if anyone had found a slip case for the HTC one yet? one that has actually been designed for the phone. I've found a few but they all have reviews saying they are just generic ones and don't fit that well. If anyone in the UK happens to have one and direct me to where I they bought it I would be grateful.

Just ordered a smoke TPU case from HYPERION:

One Archives - Hyperion Electronics Accessories

First found this company on AMAZON,back in the days of removable-extended batteries ;).

Amazon.com: Hyperion HTC One TPU Case and Screen Protector (Compatible with Sprint HTC One, T-Mobile HTC One, and AT&T HTC One Phones) **Hyperion Retail Packaging** (Matte Smoke): Cell Phones & Accessories

Same price, whether via AMAZON (except for free shipping for PRIME members) or for those w/o access to AMAZON,direct from HYPERION.

EDIT/UPDATE:
Ordered five minutes ago, direct from HYPERION & already received a USPS tracking number.

That has to be record time for anything I've purchased on-line. :D

Every screen protector I have tried to put on comes out with bubbles and doesn't line up well.

I may have missed it but is there a home dock for the ONE yet? It would be nice to put it somewhere and safe not to mention I used it as an alarm clock.

I bought two of these, One for work and one for home, and they are great. They have inserts you can take out if you have a slim case (the bigger cases i.e. Otterbox won't work with this).
