Welcome to Android Forum's First Amaze 4G ROM Thread!!

Hey Guys this thread is for the development of BlazeAmazeRom!
This Rom is based off of Mike1986’s AndroidRevolutionTM ROM but has some of my touching into it.
Please give me some suggestion for future releases!!

Disclaimer:
I am not responsible for any bricked devices. I currently do not have this phone anymore and I am doing this blindly. YOU are choosing to flash this ROM, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device then I am sorry but I didn’t tell you to flash it. I will gladly try to help solve your problems but I can’t promise anything.

How to Install this Rom
1. Make Sure You Are Rooted and Have a Custom Recovery (4EXT is highly recommended)
2. Back-Up Nandroid
3. Wipe Data (Factory Reset), Format Data and System.
4. Install the Rom from the Third Post
5. Boot and let it sit for 10 minutes
6. Reboot and enjoy!

Yeah I'm pretty sure you can, unless your amaze is carrier unbranded. If it was you'd have to s-off and supercid.

Since yours is s-on (you should try and do s-off sometime ), it should work but just enable smartflash in 4ext settings.

Yeah, I haven't had any issues with any roms so far (Pacman, CM10.1, SpeedROM or ViperAmaze) with Smartflash enabled. I'm too lazy to do the S-Off since I really don't need it.

This is ICS, latest update. If you are using 4ext you should be able to flash no problem.

4Ext does the job with smartflash on.

Ok Chris its time to give the rom a go! Downloading now! It seems unusually big though maybe you'll need to trim some fat off it. Let's see.

Okay this Rom is pretty nice :thumbup:. I haven't had any bugs so far but you should put a 1% battery mod and debloat it further. I think the Rom should be trimmed more because 500 megs is a lot for a sense Rom.

You should also theme it because it looks too much like ARHD.

Ok I will soon but I have school so it would have to be in my free time which is tight. Generally the boatware that T-mobile puts, you should invert the colors from white to black to make it more beast. You can add red highlights or something to make it more "blaze-like" and distinguish it from ARHD.

Dang I should have gotten screenshots when i was testing it I will soon (eventually) but it looks just like ARHD to me, so I couldn't tell the difference between the two.

I honestly am not anywhere near being a dev bro. I just wanted to release a rom that has a strong base and some cherry picking.
But i do know how to theme, i use virtuous studio 10 when de-compiling the apks.

Yo Chris this looks great I like the theme you should add more quick settings that's the kind of stuff I like.

I also started theming speedrom from eclipse but I need his permission if I want to release it or from my knowledge it would be kanged.
I flashed it and it looked pretty great but messaging, the aosp dialer, and contacts were missing. They were even in the Rom I didn't modify those apks, how spooky! I might be making a noob mistake but I just themed SystemUI.apk and put it into the Rom using winrar (using "store" not compress).

I'll flash this today!

I am trying this ROM as the Jelly Bean Roms I tried have too many flaws still. So far I am enjoying it. A couple of things I would like to see if possible:

Ability for numeric signal strength instead of only bars (Phone and WIFI).
Weather doesn't work with location set to Vancouver, Canada (widget does, but app doesn't).

One more request - in the threaded text message display, the black on red side of the conversations is really hard to read. Is there an option somewhere to change the grey and red backgrounds, or is this locked to the Blaze theme?

I hope this works as attachment.

I looks darker on my phone screen than on my computer monitor, in bright light it is difficult to see on the phone.

Hey Chris this is a bit unexpected but do you mind if I include some of the .9 pngs and, spinners and battery icons from your rom from the framework-res.apk and systemui.apk. I already did it but I need your permission if I want to publish my rom on xda. If you allow me, don't worry I'll give you credit.

It looks great to be honest it looks like energy rom and speed rom but red instead of blue. I just hope that too many people haven't jumped the amaze ship and gotten new phones just yet so they can try my rom.

And sorry I haven't been here to test stuff for you I was super busy with stuff and couldn't get here.
