First-time Android user checking in

Hi all,

I'm a software developer that's just recently gotten my first Android device (the HTC Desire). I'm also a hardware engineer, btw.

I haven't done any java coding yet, but I've browsed some java tutorials, and it shouldn't be too hard getting started. I'm currently quite experienced in C/C++.

I don't have any specific plans yet, but in the future I'm hoping to develop some Android apps.
