I found this buried on XDA. The one on the Play Store is out of date and buggy. Not only is this version fixed, but it also supports multiple accounts! Figure I'd share this find with you guys since the last time I tried the Play Store version it was next to unusable. Why repost something from another site that's not my work? Cause certain sections of said site are buried in no time. Remember, NOT MY WORK! So question whomever is the OP. He shouldn't mind helping. Here is an even more updated one on the Play Store, with widgets! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mgrabowski.virginmobileminutes Thanks tonestertm!

If you don't read the whole xda thread you might miss this: This developer just started working with a new app about two weeks ago, but it's also pretty nice--still a work in progress, but mostly solid.

PLUS: shows your data usage as well, which I'd always wished the other one did.

Look in the play store for Virgin Mobile Minutes by Marcin Grabowski. (Are we allowed to post direct links to apps in the store?)
No affiliation, I just like this app better.

Sorry Rola, bad wording! The app I was talking about is made by a completely different developer, Marcin Grabowski, than the original Minutes Checker developer Jay Goel, and the person who updated that one, highhacker over at XDA.

So, I guess the answer is yes, we are allowed to post direct links to apps in the store, since you've now updated the original post, Mike.... Good to know!

Hey,

This is Marcin. I myself posted couple of source code fixes to Jay (author of the original app) but he seems to abandon the app. And since he owns the google store account then it means that those fixes would never get published (it can only be posted as a link like the one on XDA).

So I decided to develop new app from scratch. My app - Virgin Mobile Minutes (one with "V" and "m" letters in logo to avoid confusion) has pretty much the same functionality - maybe a bit more e.g. allows you to assign widgets to specific accounts if you have many registered.
