Root Help Changing Rom?

Hi, I want to change the rom on my Amaze to Cyanogenmod 9, but I get stuck on the boot loader. Can someone help? I'm rooted, I've installed roms before, I followed correct steps, and repeated the whole process a bunch of times.

I forgot to say some roms work, but cyanogenmod doesn't, neither 9 or 10, so is there one that's as close to jellybean as possible? No fourth bar, it's too buggy.

Are you using 4EXT recovery?

Is the phone S-On or S-Off?

Ok thats good. Are you positive that smart flash is enabled in the settings menu in 4ext?
Also try redownloading the rom, maybe a bad flash?
If that doesnt work, do a full wipe (factory reset), Format System, and wipe both dalvik and regular cache before installing the rom.
May i have the link to the CM10 rom you are trying to install please.

use 4ext.
since you arent s-off you need to have smartflash enabled in 4ext so that the roms kernel is flashed, which will let it boot.
so download lastest nightly and flash with smart flash on.

they should be in the 4ext recovery settings.
boot into recovery and go to settings and check smartflash.

Whooaaah didnt think i'd see a post here again lol.
Well first you need to flash 4ext recovery. ROM Manager is for CWM Recovery.

Don't use ROM Manager for flashing ROMs at all. It's an inconsistent app for that.
