I formerly had the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon and loved it except for the unexplained, recurring problem of call muting where I could hear the caller but they could not hear me. After several resets and replacement phones, I finally threw in the towel and swapped for a Rezound. It wasn't what I wanted, but it did work.
With all the hub-bub around the new SG4, I'm thinking of upgrading, but the call issues on the GNex have left a bad taste in my mouth regarding Samsung hardware. I'm curious to know if anyone who had the same problem with the GNex now have the SG4 and whether this is an issue I should still hold against Samsung.
As I recall, the Nexus issue seemed to be tied to users rather than hardware (multiple handsets had the problem for me while other owners claimed they never experienced the issue at all). As a result, I remain skeptical without hearing from someone who had the same problem rather than the devout Samsung fans.
