I've decided I'm sticking with TW based roms as the AOSP ones I seem to have speakerphone problems with.. not sure if I'm going to try this rom or stick with touched sg4 .the look of the rom doesn't matter much to me because I usually put a black back/lock screen to increase battery ( if thats even true )

So I'm on this now - Can't speak for the battery life as whenever I put a new rom/kernal the battery llife always sucks for the first few days, and i always use battery recalibration after a new rom is installed and my battery is fully charged.

The 3g speed is pretty nice, maybe better then when I was on touched rom.. another thing that is nice is the modded pandora app and popup browser.. does any one have links to these apks?

edit:: just read on XDA that touched by sg4 2.0 is coming out soon..sooo...prolly be flashing yet again :/

I've noticed that when I recieve a text message on vibrate that it does not vibrate..also I do not get the option to slide unlock directly to the new text message like any other TW based rom..looks like this rom is getting removed asap

that's the flare lockscreen... you press on the text and slightly move your finger, you don't have to fling it across the screen. Vibrate works for me and everyone else, you may want to check your md5sum before you flash, it's a good habit and saves you time and headaches in the end. If you do have a problem or would like a different lockscreen or anything of that nature, post in the XDA thread and I will be glad to help. I rarely check here.

I don't have XDA thread access ( totally lame policy ) and I always check the md5sum. How can I remove the flare effect if that is why my text notification slide short cut isn't appearing? I really don't care about the flare as the "wow" factor is the least of my concern What else is preventing my phone from vibrating when recieving a text? It works when I recieve a phone call however.

Do you have vibrate when ringing checked? Hold on a minute, I'll make you a flashable for the ink effect lockscreen... just gotta make some changes to framework-res.apk... yeah you gotta make ten posts before you can post in the development section.

Might wanna check your text message settings.. Are you sure md5sum matched? Mine is not greyed out. Here is a zip for the Ink Effect Lockscreen: Dev-Host - InkEffectLockscreen.zip - The Ultimate Free File Hosting / File Sharing Service

For some reason Vibrate when ringing is completely greyed out and can not be checked.. also , it is not checked.. why would it be disabled from being able to be checked?

EDIT:: I noticed in settings >> volume that if i slide ringtone to vibrate, that both notifications and system volume levels are just crossed out..not on vibrate. if the ringtone is on vibrate - then system and notifications can not be adjusted. the only way I can adjust notifications and system volume levels is if ringtone is NOT on vibrate

This is a fresh install of sensewiz

Try flashing that mod, it will wipe cache and dalvik cache, hopefully that will fix it... if not go into Settings/Application Manager and go to ALL. Find Messaging and click on it there will be two buttons on the right side "Clear Cache" and "Clear Data" press both. If that doesn't work do the same thing with Settings. And if none of this works, I am gonna need a logcat.

Edit: You have to edit them with Sound ON. If you switch to Vibrate or Silent mode it automatically puts the default settings for those in. Also if you want to use the stock lockscreen make sure you delete Agile Lock.
