Help Good Extended Battery for motorola triumph?

I think the consensus is that most of them are junk, or at least only worth what you pay for them. The cheap Chinese ones on Ebay advertise higher capacity, but in reality are the same capacity as stock (or less.) Many of them also lack the thermal sensor that treks the phone to stop charging if the battery gets too hot, which is bad news. The only one I've heard of from a reputable company is the Mugen battery, but I don't think anyone has posted real world results yet. Wanna be the guinea pig? :D

I have to agree with the consensus here, I'm pretty sure I bought a 1600mAh off eBay, but I don't really see any difference. Probably a 1500mAh battery anyway.

I will say though, I just switched from using Juice Defender to Easy Battery Saver and holy cow, what a difference. These are just my personal findings but with JD, my battery would be drained by around 7pm but so far with Easy Battery Saver, at 11pm, my phone was still at 48%. Not trying to bash Juice Defender in any way, it's a good app, just shocked at Easy Battery Saver.

I used normal or the regular setting for Juice Def and am using Intelligent for Easy Saver

I've figured out that my phone wasnt going into deep sleep, via CPU Spy. My phone would die after 15 hours of moderate use. Right now, my phone has been on battery for 21 hours and 4 mins, with moderate to heavy use and I have 12% left. It had something to do with my email not autosyncing correctly so I disabled it and it worked. So I gotta hit refresh in gmail for new emails to come in. Small price to pay for way better battery life. Also not using any battery saving apps.

$15 ebay deal for 3 batteries and a charger wasn't too bad. Nothing quite like juggling 3 batteries just to get a day's usage out of a horrible phone. Two of them lasted about 2/3 as long as the OEM. One lasted maybe 80% or so. By now, I seem to have lost them all :p

Not too bad. Put them through the wash a dozen times. Still work. Sat/fell on some spikes and it saved my ass. Punctured it real nicely though. Didn't explode.

Prolly an S&M thing. Don't ask. :D

Hey don't know if he still has any left but some ebay seller in Texas has a deal for new in the wrapper OEM Motorola batteries, like 2 for $17 shipped. I ordered on Saturday and got them in California Monday- fastest USPS I've ever seen. He had close to 100 pairs a couple months ago. Having 2 good spares really takes the battery worry away, especially since I can fit one in my phone case.
