Root [Sprint/Cricket] rooted, wanting to go back to stock....

Had a guy root my phone, only wanted it for the wireless Wi-Fi which I never used anyway, now the update is available, can't do it and now the guys hard to find.
Any easy way to put back to stock or even if I leave it rooted,to put the update in?
kinda want to put it back, but if not....
Need the simplest way to do this, not a real big tech guy.....
Thanks in advance.

download it to your pc, then move it to your phone. after that power off your phone. press power while holding power up and home until you see the samsung logo with little blue text at the top left. when your in recovery mode ,first you need to wipe cache and data, then you need to go to advanced and press wipe dalvik cache, then you should press install zip from sd card and locate to where you put the file and click it. it should flash and reboot when it does, itll be just like when you first got your phone... if it doesnt reboot automatically then just reboot your phone from the menu.
