Flash NOT delayed for Android

According to a statement by Adobe, they are not delaying the release of Flash for Android, Blackberry, and webOS.

I am guessing that means public beta will come out in May, and the release will be a nice 4th of July present.

Hah, I know. What I want is a standalone player so you can have non web based Flash applications. I have already been working on some things so if Flash 10.1 mobile supports a standalone player, I have pretty cool cross platform apps.

fingers crossed here too. i have a flash based security system (turn lights on/off, switch cameras etc...) and it would be great if i didn't have re-write the whole thing be android specific

Yea, it would be great. I am working on a Flash based desktop environment to simulate multitasking. On top of that, I want to port SGCSim to mobile devices!

Well the fact that they changed the dialog box on the droid when you go to the site to say it is coming now... Oh wait Motorola did the same on their facebook twice!!!! Rofl sorry I had to. I do believe though it is coming.
