Help "Cell Standby" Draining Battery on 2.1 *HELP*

Anyone know how to fix this? When I check the battery usage its taking up 56% and draining my battery in a matter of hours (about 5) with minimal usage. My phones up time is 100%...

I downloaded said app, but it doesnt tell me any more then the 'Settings-About Phone-Battery Usage'

um i had the same problem my battery would last for 4-5 hrs n now it lasts the whole day what I foynd out is that the original sms app Wont let it go to sleep when ur not using it so its always awake try downloading a diff sms app like chompSMS after I stopped using the original sms app my battery life improved a lot! Now I dont charge it thruout the day

Can I delete the Stock SMS - if I am Running Handcent - or are they tied together?

You cannot and the issue with the stock sms app was corrected way back Android 1.5
