Help Beats Audio setting interrupts streaming audio.

I recently purchased the One from AT&T and love the phone except for one annoyance. If I'm streaming audio from a service like Spotify, TuneIn, or I Heart Radio the audio cuts out about 2 seconds after the screen goes dark.

Initially, I thought the problem was a power or security setting so I turned them all off and it continued to happen. This was also persistent whether I was on AT&T's LTE network or on wi-fi. I even factory reset just in case there was something I was missing...and it continued to occur.

Finally I decided to turn off Beats audio, lo and behold, that resolved the problem. For some reason Beats is interrupting all streaming audio when the screen goes dark. As soon as I touch the screen or press the power button the audio comes right back on without issue.

I'm hoping someone else has experienced the same problem and might have a long term solution rather than just leaving Beats off all the time.

Thanks.

HTC ONE owner w/T-MOBILE.I stream audio from GOOGLE PLAY MUSIC & SONY UNLIMITED MUSIC w/BEATS ON & find no difference, whether on WI-FI/BLUETOOTH/3G-4G.

Might wanna check the streaming quality option for your services if applicable & select the lower quality stream & see if there is a difference.I did this w/SONY MUSIC & the skipping all but disappeared w/o sacrificing audio quality.
GOOGLE MUSIC actually is the superior of the two in my usage,as far as streaming w/o incident.(Much improved since first introdution earlier this year).

does this happen on BT or wired phones also?
does this happen on pandora? youtube app?

I don't have bluetooth in my vehicle so I haven't tested that, unfortunately. If I'm plugged into power it also does the cut out. Does happen on Pandora, but not on YouTube or Google Music (strangely).

I'll also try adjusting the stream quality settings to see if it makes a difference.

So I have ran into this issue as well when streaming music. When using the soundcloud app with beats audio on there is always a slight pause with about 5-10 seconds left in the song regardless of what radios I was streaming through. I turned beats off and have not had an issue since.

I don't know if it's an app conflict, the genre of music I listen to(almost exclusively EDM) or some other factor I've never even considered.

Oh, and it's only soundcloud. The other apps I stream such as play music and YouTube do not do this. I'll try testing it out with my pod catcher apps and see if they do it.
