Anyone buy the Spigen Neo Hybrid case off ebay (from China)?

I know they're not the original, but I have to imagine they're basically the same case... for literally less than half the price ($10 vs $30). Anyone else do this?

I've seen post where people bought those thinking they were originals, but when they got them they are not the same quality. One note I remember was that the buttons are not actual buttons, but part of the rubber layer that was just painted silver so the buttons presses don't have that "no case feel" that an original Neo Hybrid provides. I don't know about the rest, but I felt that it was unfair to Spigen to buy knockoffs like that.

Yeah, I didn't expect it to be the same quality. I typically just buy cheap less than $5 cases from Amazon or Handhelditems and places like those anyway. Guess we'll see how this turns out.

Got the metal slate one and comes with screen protector and a stylus, so that's cool I guess

Got the same one a few days ago, it is crap, you can only slide the phone with the metal bumper attached to the silicon TPU, you can NOT install the TPU and then the metal bumper over it, another thing is the metal buttons on the metal bumper are huge "stick out too far", and with the slightest press on the bower button the phone turns on "not a good thing if the phone is in your pocket". The stylus is nice, and the screen protector I did not try. In regards to protection, yes it will protect the phone, but the small details of the original are missing BIG time. Well I just wasted a nice lunch, LOL.

On another note, I returned my S4 to Verizon for a full refund, sticking with my S3, not worth the upgrade, now I have two S4 cases for sale , good thing they both only cost me $20, the fake Spigen and this one "which is real nice" Amazon.com: Diztronic Matte Back Black Flexible TPU Case for Samsung Galaxy S4 - Retail Packaging: Cell Phones & Accessories

Agreed, the real Neo Hyrbrid case is well worth it. It's very precise and I like the idea of only having to replace the outer plastic bumper if I drop the phone. I looked on Spigen's website to see if they sell it separately but couldn't find anything. I want an orange bumper.

I would order a couple different colors if I could get just the bumper ring. Let us know if you email them to find out.

I've gotten 1 slim armor and 4 neo hybrids all FAKES from Ebay.

Make sure you know what you're buying. I got refunds on all of mine after I filled fraud disputes with Ebay.

Spigen on their website tells you what to look for in regards to real and counterfeit.

I actually just bought the real version in satin silver off Amazon. So, I'll be sure to revisit this post when they're both here.

I'm hoping I can take the metal slate bumper off the Chinese version and put it on the real version... we'll see how that works out. Would be my ghetto way of swapping out colors, but doesn't sound like I can based on these buttons...
