Anyone ever receive an annual upgrade early??

Ok guys, I am not referring to the NE2 discount here, but instead the annual (1 year) upgrade discount. Has anyone here received or ever heard of anyone receiving their annual discount early? That is currently the mission that I'm on to get the Incredible on the 29th.

My annual upgrade is July 5, so I'm trying to get it about 2 months early. I currently have the LG enV Touch and I'm on my second one already. There are too many bugs and I'm tired of it.

I've been a Verizon customer on my own for over 8 years now and I've been with them a total of about 13 years since I was on my mom's account before I went on my own.

A call to level 1 reps did nothing and I didn't ask for a manager yet. A girl in one of my local Verizon stores set up an appointment with me on April 30th (since she's off on the 29th) and told me she might be able to do it.

In the meantime I sent an email to Verizon and am awaiting an answer. Do you think it can be done? Thanks!
 
I did mine via email took 2 emails and then the person called me after they got approval from a supervisor to let me know I could order online

They wouldn't move my NE2 but let me get a 2yr price on the phone which I am fine with.

My contract date is 2/5/2011 my NE2 was 10/5/2010 (20 months into 2yr contract) because my plan is less than $49.95 a month I did no qualify for yearly upgrade but they changed it so I could moving my upgrade date to 4/19/2010 but my NE2 was still 10/5/2010

My annual upgrade (not NE2) was 6/8/10. They moved it to 4/20/10 with one simple e-mail. I've got my Incredible pre-ordered and it will be mine on 4/29. :) I told them flat out too that I had no issues with my phone, but that I've been a customer for over 5 years on my own account (more coming from my parents') and this would be the first time I'd be upgrading to a data plan, and I've been watching this phone for months. I asked nicely if they MIGHT be able to bump it up. Lo and behold, later that day I had an e-mail saying it was moved to 4/20 and it had a link to pre-order the Incredible. Yay Verizon!

introvert, that is outstanding news! It's great news because your situation almost mirrors mine exactly. I sent my email last night around 5:30 p.m. pacific time (San Diego). I haven't heard anything back yet.

THe only thing is I got a little nasty in my email threatening to leave Verizon if they didn't do it, lol. I probably shouldn't have! I hope it doesn't ruin my chances. :eek:

oh yea - first post for me in the forums here.
im so excited for the INcredible.

i have purchased and returned MANY many touchscreen phones. and i like my ipod touch (not phone).. its pretty cool. i got it at launch.
and i wanted to like touch phones sooooo bad.. but it was either too small because of my large hands or reallllly slow and wonky or heavy as hell (i had the moto droid and i hated it. )
i could never tell -
was it that i hated touch screen phones?
or i hated the touch screen phones that were available?..

so here goes with this.
these forums look great. dont see too much thread capping or agression towards peoples ideas or opinions.

Nothings working for me! My annual will be ready on 5/19 (NE2 1/19/11). I've called (even got ahold of a Jamaican on 4/20!) and emailed. Only thing left is in store. I'm on my sisters account and will have her try as well but she's not the one shooting loads over a phone so I want to wear out all options first. I did, however, use her name in email. They took notes on my emails and replied "as Jason stated...".

Anyone help? Anyone more successful in store?

I am working on getting and upgrade too, but mine is because the Eris has so many problems with the 2.1 update
