Ive really been into the whole rooting and flashing scene for awhile and ive loved the stuff devs have come up with , but i want to try to be a dev now myself , could anybody try to point me in he right direction , im going to try to commit to this . i really want to use this as my first phone to dev on thanks .

I wish you the best of luck. If it were me, I would pick a device that didn't cost as much as this one when learning to Dev. A Samsung device such as the Prevail would work nicely. It's not expensive AND it has Odin which will help if you soft brick the phone.

They also have a good community over in that section.

thanks . but ive had atleast one phone from each brand and htc allways seems to amaze at the kind of stuff the devs get done with these devices

Are you familiar with Odin? If not, here is a brief description. Download Odin Latest Version [Current 3.07]

Odin has saved my butt on several occasions when I was learning about Android. It's easy to use and as long as you have the files, you can recover almost any soft bricked device. Even though CWM is a great recovery, there's always a possibility of a hard brick when you learning certain things.

There is actually a good bit of info on Google on the subject. XDA is also a good source too. :)

LOL!!!! A lifesaver huh? It can save your phone when CWM or TWRP cannot. :D

It's also a very easy way change basebands, ROMs and such. I wish HTC had something similar to Odin. Heh, I wish they all did. LG has something similar but nowhere near as good as Odin.

yeah i had and lg motion for metro pcs and used their version , i also have an lg venice used it on that no where near odin

How do you like the Venice? I came very close to buying that phone when it 1st cam out. It's a good looking device.

There's another phone on the market now that has a metal casing. Can't think of the name right off-hand but it's nice. For some reason I like the metal look. LOL :D

Hey, that's the One I was thinking of. No doubt. Great looking phone. Hey, how about that new S4 waterproof? That'll be a big seller.

Edit: it's called the S4 Active.

ehhh i dont think much of samsung anymore even though id prefer them over most manufactures except htc

This is my 1st HTC and I must say that I am impressed so far. The phone straight out of the back is great. No lag, nice display, good feel. It's just a nice all-around phone. Imagine what it's going to be like in a few months. Whew!!! There are a lot of things going on over at XDA for the non US versions. I'm sure a good bit of that will eventually be available for our phone. As a matter of fact, some of it already is. You guys haven't seen it yet because it's being tested. I was lucky enough to get a hold of something a friend let me try that will add some performance.

Speaking of development, time to head over check out the Dev threads and see what's going on. :)
