o_O how does one dude from LA have shotty speed, and you're almost 7mbps? Perplexing...

I assume your'e talking about my spotty speeds.:p Bakersfield is about 2 hours north of LA. When I used to have my EVO on Metro I found out that the towers here did not allow 3g. Just driving to Modesto, 3 hours north of Bak, I would get 1.2Mbps. Not all towers are created equal. That's why I hope that T-mobile will improve my situation. I guess that's also proof of throttling in certain regions.

I would love to post but mine would be inconsistent. It seems over the past few weeks here in Dallas during the day I'm blazing through everything but during the evening hours it gets throttled down. I've called metro to reprogram, I always update my roaming list using *228. I've been with metro for 8yrs so I pay no extra fees or taxes and am on the old school 55/mo unlimited everything 4glte plan with free tethering so I don't know what it is.

Lately I've been averaging 2.5-4.5. The record for me here is 7.58. Maybe once or twice in a day I may hit 5.5-6.0.

Our signal here has gotten more steady and a bit higher than the prior average of about 1.5-3.5 consistently. I am hoping we haven't been refarmed yet, I hope they do that when they come to do all the last work in Fl.
